LOGO

We are very proud of our logo. Follow these guidelines to ensure it always looks its best. Our logo is the combination of a simple, modern wordmark with the icon. We use 2 different orientations of our logo to allow for freedom of design.

HORIZONTAL LOGO

The horizontal logo is the logo we use for all ‘official’ communications – anything that needs a sense of professionalism or seriousness such as letterhead, head coach apparel, proposals, or billing statements.

VERTICAL LOGO

The vertical logo is the logo we use for all ‘casual” or ‘friendly’ communications – anything that needs to convey a sense of approachability or coolness such as athlete handouts, assistant coach apparel, or social media posts.

ICON

Our icon is a shorter version of our logo. Use the icon on its own only if you do not have enough room for the full logo or in cases when the Delta brand has already been established. While the icon can exist without the wordmark, the wordmark should never exist without the icon.

ALTERNATE LOGOS

Delta Athletics allows some alternate used logo designs for limited purposes. These should only be used in the cases specified below.

RECTANGULAR LOCKUP

The rectangular lockup is used in place of the horizontal logo, when a more compact, formal presentation is necessary. Typically seen on web navigation menus and head coach apparel.

OUTLINE VARIATIONS

Outlined variations of the vertical logo and icon are allowed for design or decoration purposes where the Delta brand has already been established. The wordmark is always displayed completely filled in.

EXCLUSION ZONES

To protect the clarity of the logo and ensure it has as much impact as possible, it should be surrounded by an area of space known as the exclusion zone. The exclusion zone for standard usages are shown below.
