    This drill can be demonstrated using Delta coaches or intermediate athletes. The purpose of this drill is to work on offensive movements against a full defense. Defenders earn points by passing attacks, and attackers earn points by getting kills.

CHALLENGE

  • The Level 4 Right Side challenge for hitting- 3 attacks from transition off freeball pass, 3 attacks from transition off serve receive pass, and 3 attacks from transition from off-block defensive pass.

    • Athletes must attack 3 balls in a row off transition from a freeball, serve receive, and defensive pass.
    • Coaches toss/set and enter balls to athletes.
    • Athletes self-report their own success
  • The Level 4 Middle challenge for hitting- 3 attacks from transition off freeball pass, 3 attacks from transition off block jump, and 3 attacks from transition from off-block defensive pass.

    • Athletes must attack 3 balls in a row off transition from a freeball, block jump, and defensive pass.
    • Coaches toss/set and enter balls to athletes.
    • Athletes self-report their own success
  • The Level 4 Outside challenge for hitting- 3 attacks from transition off freeball pass, 3 attacks from transition off serve receive pass, and 3 attacks from transition from off-block defensive pass.
