    The intention of this drill is to focus on offensive transition from a freeball pass, serve receive pass, or blocking move. This drill is intended for intermediate and above athletes due to the complexity of the footwork. This drill can be demonstrated on a single court.

CHALLENGE

  • The third challenge for hitting- 10 three-step approach jump and hit swings in a straight line with one miss allowed.

    • Athletes must hit 10 out of 11 three-step approach jump and swings in a straight line.
    • Coaches toss balls to athletes.
    • Athletes 12 and under can use a light ball
    • Athletes self-report their own success
  • The second challenge for hitting- 10 two-step approach jump and hit swings with one miss allowed.

    • Athletes must hit 10 out of 11 two-step approach jump and swings.
