Delta Athletics Volleyball Clinics Cancellation Policy

At Delta Athletics, we understand that life can sometimes serve you something unexpected. That’s why we’ve crafted a cancellation policy with your convenience and flexibility in mind.

Cancellation Window:

  • Up to 72 Hours in Advance:
    • We’ve got you covered! If you need to cancel your registration for any reason up to 72 hours before the clinic, we’ll happily refund your money, deducting a small $5 booking fee. Alternatively, you can opt to rebook into a different clinic without any additional charges.
  • Within 72 Hours:
    • If you find yourself needing to cancel within 72 hours of the clinic, don’t worry. While we won’t be able to offer a full refund, we’ll provide a 50% discount for your next clinic booking. It’s our way of ensuring you still get value from your registration.

No Call, No Show:

  • Nonrefundable:
    • We understand that things can get hectic, but please remember to let us know if you can’t make it. In the event of a no call, no show, unfortunately the registration fee will be nonrefundable.

How To Cancel:

As with all Delta Athletics programs, there is only one way to officially cancel, by sending a email to with the name of your athlete and the name of the event you are canceling. The date and time we receive the email will inform how refunds or credits will be processed.

Contact Us:

If you have any questions or need assistance regarding our cancellation policy, please feel free to reach out to our team. We’re here to help make your experience with Delta Athletics as smooth as possible.

Note: Our cancellation policy is designed to balance fairness to our participants with the operational needs of our clinics. Thank you for your understanding.

My athlete missed a session (or sessions), can I get a refund?2023-11-28T10:19:30-06:00

We understand that sometimes life’s obligations become more important than attending a volleyball class. At Delta Athletics, we prioritize small class sizes to ensure personalized attention, allowing only 14 athletes per court. When an athlete misses a session, it not only affects their experience, it affects the experience of the other athletes in the program, and impacts our carefully planned staffing and court allocation.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds for missed sessions as we’ve reserved your spot, staffed accordingly, and dedicated court time specifically for the scheduled session. However, we do have a straightforward cancellation process if your unforeseen circumstances require you to exit the program for the time being. Simply send an email to with the athlete’s name, and we’ll assist you with any necessary adjustments.

I sent an email/text/SnapChat/Instagram asking to cancel, why am I still being billed?2023-11-08T19:27:56-06:00

We do not honor any cancellation requests by phone message, text message, social media account, or any other Delta Athletics email. We are a small business, and time spent trying to honor a cancellation via Facebook Messenger or other medium is time consuming, costly and difficult. We are working hard to make sure your athlete get the attention they deserve, so we ask that you honor our time and efforts by using the cancellation policy correctly.

The only way to cancel is by sending an email to with your athlete’s first and last name. Once your email has been received, your cancellation will be processed according to our training policy.

I told Coach _______ that we wanted to cancel, why did I still get billed this month?2023-11-08T18:59:33-06:00

If you have ever been to one of our training sessions, you will probably understand that the coaches have a million different things going on in their head to ensure the training runs smoothly. Trying to remember who asked for a cancellation while running drills on 2 to 3 different courts is a difficult, if not impossible task. That’s why no coach is allowed to take a cancellation from a parent or athlete. The only way to cancel is by sending an email to with your athlete’s first and last name. Once your email has been received, your cancellation will be processed according to our training policy.

What forms of payment do you accept?2023-11-08T19:16:33-06:00
  • Our training classes use recurring billing, so we only accept credit or debit cards for these classes.
  • Private lessons and clinics run by our coaches are typically only cash, Venmo, or other form of instant electronic payment. Please check with the specific coach you are working with for details.
When does my cancellation take effect?2023-11-08T14:38:49-06:00

Your cancellation will take effect 20 days after we receive an email at that contains your athlete’s first and last name. If a billing cycle happens before the 20 days have completed, you will be billed for the month, and will be allowed to attend training through the end of the month.

1. If your cancellation email is received before the midnight on the 10th day of the month, your training slot will end on the last day of the month. (Example: if we receive your cancellation email on 11:59pm on June 10th, your training slot will end June 30th)

2. If your cancellation email is received after midnight on the 10th day of the month, your training slot will end on the last day of the month following the cancellation request. (Example, if we receive your cancellation email on 12:01am on June 11th, your training slot will end July 31st, you will be billed a final time on July 1st)

Why does Delta Athletics charge a signup fee?2023-11-09T14:24:15-06:00

Good question! Delta Athletics charges a signup fee for two reasons. First, Delta Athletics will enroll your athlete into the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). AAU has many membership benefits including supplemental sports insurance, that can cover additional medical costs if your child is injured at an AAU practice or event. As long as you a continuous member with Delta, we will keep you enrolled in AAU.  Second, the one time fee covers training shirts for the life of your membership – meaning you will not pay for a new training shirt when you advance classes. (of course, if you lose a shirt or want an additional training shirt, we sell them at the front desk for a nominal charge).

Private Lesson Cancellation Policy2023-11-08T19:00:31-06:00

Delta Athletics is a small local business that enthusiastically supports the volleyball community. We rent additional court time to allow our coaches to earn extra income, and our coaches rely on the extra income generated by this private work. That’s why we have the following policy: You may cancel anytime up to 24 hours before your scheduled lesson without penalty. If you cancel within 24 hours, we will request payment in full for the time booked to cover the costs we incurred. While you are free to ignore our request for payment, you may be disallowed from training with us in the future. Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to working with your athlete!

What services do you offer?2023-11-09T14:14:25-06:00

Delta Athletics works to provide high quality accessible coaching to athletes of all ages and skill sets. While our primary methods are listed on the website, we can also work with you to create a custom solution for your athlete, team, or coaching staff. Here is a list of our offerings:

  • Training Classes – This is the primary way that we train, as we have found that consistent, regular training with athletes of similar skill leads to the fastest development.
  • Private Training – Many of our coaches will offer private training in individual or small group sessions. We try to keep a current list of private lessons on our website, but these typically fill up quickly. If you want to work with a specific coach but cannot find an available time, please drop us a line, and we will see what we can do.
  • Clinics – From time to time, Delta will offer clinics that focus on a specific skill set. These are typically 2-3 hours in length, and will be advertised on the main page of our website when they are available.
  • Small Group Training – If you are looking for deeper instruction for a group of athletes, Delta Athletics can work with you do develop a custom training program. Drop us a line and we will be happy to develop a custom program tailored to your needs.
  • Team Training – We are happy to provide team training to teams looking to develop specific aspects of their game. We can consult with club teams, high schools, and even guest coach collegiate programs. Our only requirement is that we work in partnership with your current coach – meaning we won’t train your team in secret.
  • Coaching Education – We believe that the community is better when we have better coaches across the board. That’s why we are happy to offer coaching education to and consultation to anyone who asks. If you or organization is looking to gain skill in volleyball coaching drop us a line, and we will be happy to tailor something to suit your needs.
