Focused training for competitive athletes
For athletes 12 to 18 years old with extensive experience in competitive volleyball, this program is built to develop the truly competitive athlete. Training focuses on more advanced concepts in volleyball: strategic decision making, position-specific skills, offensive systems, defensive strategies, and the competition mindset. Training is 90 minutes in length and is open to both male and female athletes.
What will the athlete learn?
The athlete will learn the skills necessary to play a position-based role on a competitive team (Outside Hitter, Middle, Right Side, Setter, Libero) and will gain the tools necessary to excel.
Is this a difficult program?
Yes, but you will only get out what you put in. The training regimen is intensive, and the focus on developing the proper techniques can be difficult for some athletes.
Requirements for joining the program
Delta Athletics requires that athletes joining the elite program demonstrate advanced volleyball skills equivalent to a player with with 3 or more years of competitive experience. Players may test into the elite program, or show proof of competitive play at the high school varsity or national club level.

Other Classes
Intermediate Volleyball
Open to athletes 12-18 with 1-2 years of competitive volleyball experience, this practice takes the athletes through the fundamental on-court roles and positions.
Advanced Volleyball
For athletes 12-18 with 2-3 years of experience in competitive volleyball. This program teaches position-specific roles and skills for all phases of the game, from serve-recieve, to attack, to blocking and defense.
